Welcome - I'm glad you are here...

If you had told me years ago that one day I would write a book about my life, I would have laughed. For a long time, I thought my circumstances had more power over my future than they did.
But God had a different plan.
Looking back now, I can see His hand in places I couldn’t see Him at the time. I can see how He carried me through things I didn’t think were possible, placed people in my path at exactly the right moments, and slowly showed me that my past did not have to determine my future.
God can take the broken pieces of a story and make something beautiful from them.
That is really the heart behind the book I’ve been working on.
It’s a fictional story from real experiences in my life—from childhood to the people, choices, struggles, and moments that shaped me along the way. It isn’t a story about having everything figured out.
It’s a story about grace.
It’s about redemption.
It’s about the faithfulness of God when life doesn’t look anything like you thought it would.
And it’s about learning that sometimes the road we would never choose for ourselves can still lead us exactly where God wants us to be.
I grew up in southern Idaho and eventually found my way to Louisiana, where I built a life filled with family, horses, roping, fishing, church, and plenty of beautiful chaos.
I believe God gives us stories for a reason. Sometimes we go through things so that, years later, someone else can look at our story and realize they aren’t alone.
Maybe you’re in a chapter right now that you don’t understand.
Maybe you’ve spent years believing that because of where you came from, you can only go so far.
I hope I can remind you of something I’ve had to learn for myself:
Your circumstances don’t have the final say. Your past doesn’t get to write your ending. And God is not finished with your story.
I don’t know exactly where this road will lead, but I know who is leading me.
So, welcome to my little corner of the world.
I’m thankful you’re here.
And I’m excited to share this journey with you.
“Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.” — Proverbs 16:3
God absolutely gives us stories for a reason. I love that! If we can reach just one person with our story, we're making a difference! But I have no doubt that your story? Well, it'll be touching more than just one person! God is so good!
